Colgate-Palmolive is working with TFT to map its supply chains, focusing first on tracing to the mills. It asks suppliers to establish a responsible palm policy, as part of its Policy Implementation Plan (PIP). This implementation plan covers supplier´s palm sourcing policies, traceability, approaches to changing practices in the supply chain, grievance mechanisms, reporting progress and transparency. The company is evaluating membership in the Palm Oil Innovation Group and reviewing the RSPO NEXT program.
